In 1933, Hitler came to power in Germany and began the campaign that was to become “The Final Solution”... the annihilation of the Jews. More than 6 million Jews were murdered by the Nazis as well as more than 5 million non-Jews.
The lessons of The Holocaust must not be taught as simply words on a page of a textbook or by teachers who have had no training in Holocaust education. School children as well as the general public at large need to hear from the ones who were there along with the expert historians who can properly teach the lessons of The Holocaust.
